Who am I: a 16 year old girl living in Coquitlam, BC who has a very expressive face and many obsessions. I am also a daughter, sister, writer, reader, musician, singer, martial artist, learner, teacher, friend, organizer, questioner, talker, thinker, and a blogger .

What I love: …family, friends, sunshine, green grass, glitter glue, curious george, buses, electric blankets, tic tacs, tea, band aids, glee, wicked, musicals, umbrellas, cheesecakes, gum, sharpies, hats, shirts, rubber boots, christmas and birthday cards, flip flops, mackintosh apples (best type easily!), jack johnson, music, smiles, rainbows, hand lotion, hair, yoga, taekwondo, sleepovers, making cookies so that you can eat the cookies dough, spontaneous dance parties, starbucks, binoo, ipods, wheely chairs, go fish, sleeping under the stars, swimming in the ocean, walking on the beach early in the morning when no one else is up and the tide out, crazy philosophical conversations that you randomly find yourself in the middle of, when my hair curls just right without me even needing to touch it, running barefoot across an open field on a clear sunny day while the wind whips through you and it feels as though nothing can touch you, the feeling of water surrounding you, those really awesome highs you get from running, speeding down hills in the pouring rain on your bike, breaking boards, moments of stillness, finding the right answer to a really annoying math question, singing loudly and off key with some friends, having your super tank sister piggy back you around the house, using a hairbrush as your microphone when the house is empty, knowing that everything works out in the end, letting go and trusting, taking a risk and coming through, those times when no one wants to leave, hugs, high fives, the really funny things that little kids unexpectedly come up with, reading, laughing, and feeling in control of life.

Why I’m on this blog: In the last couple of years I’ve made some super awesome friends who are also in fact, the other 7 girls on this blog. However, summer arrived and with it, the realization that everyone had their own agenda for much of it. Through the Frozen Tic Tacs I hope to hear about what others are up to, and let do the same for them. If all goes smoothly, it would be really cool to see this continue into the fall…

My summer: involves lifeguarding courses, completing my first degree black belt in taekwondo, working (I teach at my taekwondo school), running, attempting some beginner guitar, reading lots of books, getting lots of sun, exploring my city, other awesome things that may occur, and taking some time to relax and enjoy life…
