“The opposite of courage is not cowardice, it is conformity. Even a dead fish can go with the flow” – Jim Hightower
Who I am: a 16 year old Vancouverite who’s very fond of monkey toques, tic tacs, soccer, and Harry Potter. I’m also an identical twin (my sister is on this blog, too).
My summer: I’m leaving my eccentric green house in the care of my mother and little sister while I spend six weeks in St. Jerome, Quebec. I’ll be practicing my French and working at a daycare (my first experience with little kids).
Random Facts:
I’m descended from the Hatfields of the Hatfields and the McCoys, the two famous feuding families from Kentucky/West Virginia (the feud started over a hog and twelve men ended up dead).
My name is also the name of an Afghani airline company.
I live in a house by the sea with two sisters, a dog, and a golden goose (a bathroom faucet).
I love musicals, especially the Sound of Music and Fiddler on the Roof.
I’ve been vegetarian since I was three.
My family has never owned a television.
